BCAA (Branched-chain amino acid)
A branched-chain amino acid is an amino acid having aliphatic side-chains with a branch. Among the proteinogenic amino acids, there are three BCAAs: leucine, isoleucine and valine. Non-proteinogenic BCAAs include 2-aminoisobutyric acid.
