Steps to prepare Pepper Rasam Recipe :

How to make Pepper Rasam:
1. To a Mortar and pestle add 1 tsp of pepper corns, 1 tsp of jeera. Grind to a fine powder.
2. To this add 10 garlic pods, few curry leaves and 1 green chilli. Crush them well. Keep this ready. Now lets start the preparation.
3. Heat the same mud pot and add 1 tsp of oil to it. When the oil is nice and hot add 1/4 tsp of fenugreek, 2 dry red chillies a pinch of asafoetida and few curry leaves . Give it a quick saute.
4. To this add the crushed ingredients and 2 ripe tomatoes thinly sliced. Mix it well until the tomato turns mashy.
5. Now the tomato is cooked well, so add 1/4 tsp of pepper corn and mix well. Then go ahead and add 1/2 cup of tamarind juice & 2 cups of water. Mix it well and allow it to come to a boil.
6. Once it start to boil add 1/4 tsp of pepper powder and mix well. Then off the flame and sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves.
7. Now our delicious pepper rasam is ready. Very healthy and definetly an immunity booster. Serve it nice and hot with some steamed rice and enjoy with your family and friends.
